Candy Cage serves as Associate Commissioner for Women's Basketball for the Atlantic 10 Conference, providing leadership for all aspects of the conference's women's basketball operations. She serves as the primary liaison to women's basketball coaches and administrators, overseeing regular-season scheduling, officiating, brand development, and strategic initiatives. Cage also manages relationships with the conference's media partners, including CBS Sports Network, ESPN+, and USA Network, while helping direct the planning and execution of the Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Championship. In addition, she serves as the lead administrator for the Atlantic 10 Rowing Championship and as the staff liaison to the conference's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
A respected athletics administrator and former NCAA Division I women's basketball coach, Cage brings decades of leadership experience in collegiate athletics. Her background as both a coach and administrator provide valuable perspective in supporting the conference's member institutions, student-athletes, and coaches while advancing the continued growth and national visibility of Atlantic 10 women's basketball.
Before joining the Atlantic 10, Cage served as Athletic Director at Elizabeth Seton High School and Interim Commissioner of the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC). Earlier in her career, she held head and assistant coaching positions at Mount St. Mary's University, Georgia Tech, and Loyola University Maryland, helping lead programs to NCAA Tournament appearances. An active member of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and Women Leaders in Sport, Cage has been recognized for her contributions to athletics through induction into the Elizabeth Seton High School and Northern High School Halls of Fame. The basketball court at Elizabeth Seton High School has also been named in her honor in recognition of her lasting impact on the school and community.
