WASHINGTON – The Atlantic 10 Conference has announced its weekly honors in men’s soccer. The awards are for games played from September 14-20.
 
Offensive Player of the Week: Ryan Holt (So., London, England), St. Bonaventure
Defensive Player of the Week: Sam Coss (Sr., Bowie, Md.), Duquesne
Rookie of the Week: Arata Mizuno (Fr., Tokyo, Japan), Fordham
 
Ryan Holt had a great week for the Bonnies, netting two goals this week and helping St. Bonaventure to a 2-0 week with wins over Canisius and VCU. In the A10 opener Saturday, Holt secured a brace, tying the game for the Brown and White in the 18th minute on his first goal of the season. Just twelve minutes later, Holt tallied the eventual game-winning goal for the Bonnies. Holt is now second on the team in goals.
 
Sam Coss helped the Dukes remain unbeaten through their first six games of the year for the second consecutive season. Coss collected his fourth clean sheet of the campaign in a 1-0 victory over Rhode Island in Duquesne's 2026 A10 opener. Coss has yet to allow a goal at home this season and the performance helped give Duquesne head coach Chase Brooks his 100th career victory.
 
Arata Mizuno picked a great time to secure his first collegiate goal, finding the back of the net in the 89th minute to give the Rams an insurance tally in a 2-0 win over Loyola Chicago. Fordham was one of five teams to come out with a win in the opening week of A10 conference play.
