WASHINGTON – The Atlantic 10 Conference has announced its weekly honors in men’s soccer. The awards are for games played from August 24-30.
 
Offensive Player of the Week: Jaime Godinho (So., Lisbon, Portugal), George Mason
Defensive Player of the Week: Winston Jory (Jr., Brisbane, Australia), St. Bonaventure
Rookie of the Week: Marco Cantalapiedra (Fr., Biscayne, Fla.), Fordham
 
Jaime Godinho powered George Mason to a 3-1 victory over William & Mary in the Patriots’ home opener. The sophomore scored George Mason’s first two goals of the evening to go ahead 2-0, the second score proving to be the game-winner.
 
Winston Jory stood firm in net for St. Bonaventure last week, allowing just one goal across two matches. Jory made three saves in a 1-0 loss to West Virginia, before recording six saves in a shutout performance against Le Moyne. Jory helped the Bonnies secure a tie in the latter match, despite being outshot 9-4, including a 7-1 shot disparity in the second half.
 
Marco Cantalapiedra helped Fordham earn the team’s first win of the 2026 campaign, scoring the game-winning goal of a 2-0 victory at Bucknell on Friday. The rookie found the back of the net for the first time in his collegiate career, burying a right-footed strike in the 54^th minute to put the Rams on top.
