Richmond Captures Second Straight Atlantic 10 Women's Golf Championship; Beasley Earns Medalist Honors

ORLANDO – Richmond captured its second straight Atlantic 10 Women’s Golf Championship, shooting a 915, capped by a third-round best 305 Wednesday at Evermore Orlando Resort. The Spiders’ Maya Beasley won medalist honors with a 221 (73-72-76).

Richmond, which has won both A-10 women’s golf titles since the league added the sport in 2025, receives the league’s automatic bid to NCAA Regionals.

All five Spiders finished in the top five, with Olivia Wilkie placing third with a 231 (77-77-77) and Hannah Lydic, last year’s medalist finishing fourth with a 232 (78-77-77). Katie Magner (81-77-76) and Addie Doroh (79-79-76) each carded a 234 to tie for fifth.

Loyola Chicago was second overall with a 943, paced by second-place Grace Hui’s 226 (76-75-75). Dayton finished third with a 962 and Duquesne was fourth with a 983. Saint Joseph’s and La Salle placed fifth and sixth respectively.
Beasley tallied seven birdies across six different holes in the three rounds, including four on Tuesday’s second round, shooting the lowest round of the tournament with a 72.

Doroh and Dayton’s Etta Huffman shared Most Outstanding Rookie honors, with Huffman equaling Doroh with a fifth-place finish and a 234 (75-80-79) score.

Dayton’s Emma Sparling finished eighth with a 238 (80-76-82) and her teammate Christina Pfefferkorn and Loyola’s Cassie Psuik tied for ninth with a 239 to round out the top 10. Psuik shot an 85-80-74 whole Pfefferkorn carded an 81-82-76. Psuik’s 74 was the lowest score of the third round.

NCAA Regionals will be held May 11-13 at four sites around the country. The NCAA Women’s Golf Selection Show is April 29, and the Championship, which will be contested in Carlsbad, Calif., is May 22-27.
