ORLANDO – Richmond improved its score by four strokes to maintain its lead after round two of the 2026 Atlantic 10 Women’s Golf Championship Tuesday at Evermore Resort’s Cypress Course. The Spiders’ Maya Beasley held onto her top spot on the leaderboard as well.
The Spiders shot a 303 in round two for a two-day total of 610, 15 strokes ahead of Loyola Chicago, which surged into second with a 313 Tuesday for a total of 635. Dayton is third with a 637, Duquesne is fourth with a 653 and Saint Joseph’s and La Salle are in fifth and sixth place respectively. La Salle had the biggest jump in score after day one, improving by 37 strokes. Every team but one was better on day two.
Beasley was shot an even-par 72 Tuesday, and all five Richmond golfers placed in the top seven. Olivia Wilkie is in third place overall and was the second UR finisher with a 154 (77-77). Defending A-10 medalist Hannah Lydic is tied for fourth with a 155 (78-77), and Katie Manger (81-77) and Addie Doroh (79-79) shot a 158 each to tie for seventh.
Grace Hui led Loyola and is six strokes off the lead, shooting a 151 (76-75) to place second overall. Dayton’s Etta Huffman tied Lydic in fourth with a 15 (75-80). Her teammate Emma Sparling carded a 156 (80-76) to place sixth. Duquesne teammates Sasha Petrochko (79-82) and Lindsey Powanda (84-77) tied for ninth with a 161.
Saint Joseph’s Mariana Forero had the best improvement after day one, increasing her score by 12 strokes.
The third and final round tees off Wednesday at 7:30 am.
