The Coach G Era in Foggy Bottom continues to garner applause, none louder than Wednesday night against Bradley in the WNIT. Making its first postseason appearance since winning the A-10 in 2018, and first WNIT showing since 2017, the George Washington women's basketball team marches on to the Round of 32 after a thrilling 63-60 home win.

Gabby Reynolds stamped her name into GW postseason lore with a double-double, throwing in a game-high tying 21 points while grabbing a game-best 12 rebounds. The standout sophomore garnered A-10 All-Conference Third Team accolades at the conclusion of the regular season, finishing the year averaging 13.9 ppg, including GW's final 12 games of the season, but saved her first 20-and-10 game for the biggest game of her career to date.

The game was won on defense, though, in the preferred style of the bench boss, as it took a fourth-quarter rally and strongest defensive effort of the game to swipe the victory from the Braves. The Revolutionaries held their guests to 3-of-14 (.214) shooting in the final 10 minutes, and with :19 ticks left and Bradley in possession, forced a wayward heave at the buzzer that wasn't close and allowed the ebullient bench to celebrate.

While Reynolds drew the headlines, it was Kamari Sims who provided the decisive blows. Trailing by four as the clock ticked under two minutes. Sims scored five in-a-row, including an and-one that gave GW the lead with :49 to play. Sara Lewis extended the lead to three on the team's next possession, paving the way for the game-ending stop.

Sims finished with 12 points and Lewis netted 11, as GW's win count continues to go up a notch, now at 16, after winning 13 a season ago.

Southern Indiana awaits in the next round, with date, time and location to be announced.
