For the fourth time in league history, the women will compete in a 6K course. The men will race in an 8K event.

Six A10 men’s teams were ranked in the latest NCAA Division I United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association regional rankings. In the Mid-Atlantic region, George Washington in No. 8, Saint Joseph’s at No. 9, and La Salle at No. 14. The Midwest region sees Loyola Chicago coming in at No. 8. The Northeast region has Rhode Island at No. 14, while the Southeast region has George Mason at a mirroring No. 14. All six teams were ranked in the top six in the conference preseason poll.

Loyola Chicago was the preseason favorite to win the A10 Men’s Championship in the preseason poll. Loyola reclaimed the crown last year after finishing as the runner-up at the year prior. Loyola is seeking its fourth conference title in its fifth season in the league. Runners such as A10 Player of the Week Jake Phillips will help the Ramblers’ cause.

Phillips, who finished fourth at last year’s championships, headline a group of top 10 returners that includes Biruk Beardsley (George Mason), Yusuf Baig and Nate Boutin (Loyola Chicago), and Nick Martin (Rhode Island).
Two women’s teams were ranked in USTFCCCA’s latest rankings: George Washington is ranked No. 12 in the Mid-Atlantic region while Loyola Chicago comes in at No. 15 in the Midwest region.

The Ramblers were projected to win the A10 Women’s Cross Country Championship in the preseason poll. Last season, the Ramblers clinched their fourth consecutive championship. Barbara Neiva is the Ramblers’ lone top 10 returner from 2025. Allison Dougherty projects to be a top Rambler this year as well.

Gwenno Good return from the 2025 top 10 for La Salle, as does George Washington’s Hadley Mahoney, and Richmond’s Hallie Muniz.

The 2026 Atlantic 10 Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships will be aired on ESPN+.
