HENRICO, Va. — Single-session tickets are on sale now for the Atlantic 10 Women’s Basketball Championship, taking place from March 4-8 at the Henrico Sports & Events Center in Henrico, Va.
Standard tickets for Sessions 1-5, which will take place on Wednesday, March 4 to Friday, March 6 will be $15, with the semifinals and championship on Saturday, March 8, and Sunday, March 9 each priced at $20. Discounted tickets are available for Youth (12 and under) and Seniors (55 and over).
The Atlantic 10 Conference Women’s Basketball Championship returns to the Henrico Sports & Events Center in Henrico, Va., in the Richmond metro area, for the third consecutive year. The championship showcases all 14 A-10 programs with the league title and the conference’s automatic NCAA Tournament bid on the line.
The first-round session will be played on Wednesday, March 4 and includes two games, the first beginning at noon marking Community Appreciation Day. The second rounds feature two sessions (four games) on Thursday, March 5, including Youth Education Through Sports Day festivities throughout the morning session. Friday’s quarterfinals will continue the Youth Education theme while airing on USA Network, featuring the final eight teams remaining in the bracket in four highly-anticipated matchups. The four advancing teams will play in the semifinals on Saturday, March 7 on CBS Sports Network highlighted by a special recognition of A-10 women’s basketball alumni in celebration of the league’s 50
th Anniversary as well as International Women’s Day.
The title game will take place on Sunday, March 8 on ESPN2 at 4 p.m. George Mason secured the program’s first-ever A-10 title last year with a victory over Saint Joseph’s, after Richmond won its first A-10 Championship the year prior by taking down Rhode Island in the final matchup. Over the last eight years, the Atlantic 10 Women’s Basketball Championship has crowned eight different champions.
The Atlantic 10 Conference extended its partnership with the Henrico Sports & Entertainment Authority and Richmond Region Tourism this offseason, securing the Henrico Sports & Events Center as the A-10 Women’s Basketball Championship home through 2029 – continuing the momentum and success built since the event first tipped off at the venue in 2024.
The 2025 A-10 Women’s Basketball Championship had a strong financial impact, bringing over $2.9 million into the Greater Richmond Area.
