WASHINGTON — The Atlantic 10 Conference has named Richmond senior Rachel Ullstrom as the Under Armour Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Saint Louis freshman Alyssa Koerkenmeier was chosen as the league’s Rookie of the Week. The awards were announced on Monday for games played from Jan. 12 - Jan. 18.

Ullstrom paced Richmond’s offense at an extremely efficient rate, leading the Spiders to a pair of dominant victories. The guard from Auburn, Mass. averaged 23.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game across both contests, shooting 73.9 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from behind the arc. Ullstrom poured in 26 points in Richmond’s 85-67 win over Dayton on Wednesday, knocking down 6-of-7 attempts from 3-point land and 9-of-11 total shots. She continued her strong stretch in the Spiders’ 77-47 triumph against VCU on Sunday, scoring 20 points to go with two rebounds and three steals.

Koerkenmeier earned her second consecutive weekly accolade, averaging 16.0 points, 12.0 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks per contest across two games while shooting 62.5 percent from the floor. The center from St. Rose, Ill. registered tallied 20 points and 13 rebounds in a 66-57 win at La Salle, knocking down eight shots from the free throw line. Koerkenmeier posted her fourth consecutive double-double in a 62-58 victory over Dayton on Sunday, recording 12 points, 11 rebounds, and a career-high six blocks.

George Mason forward Zahirah Walton averaged 20.0 points, and 3.5 rebounds per game across two matchups, including a 25-point showing against Loyola Chicago … Patriots freshman Mary Amoateng helped the defending A-10 champions earn a road victory against Saint Joseph’s, posting 12 points, five assists, four steals, and three rebounds … Loyola Chicago’s Alexus Mobley helped lead the Ramblers to a comeback road win at George Washington, recording 19 points, five rebounds, and two blocks …  Richmond rookie Ava Persichetti contributed nine points, three rebounds, and a steal in the Spiders’ dominant home win against VCU … Saint Louis rookie Jahda Denis played a crucial role in both of the Billikens’ victories last week, scoring 18 points at La Salle before adding 17 points and four steals against Dayton … St. Bonaventure guard Laycee Drake averaged 13.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals, and 3.0 assists per game, including an 11-point, 10-rebound double-double in the Bonnies’ win over Saint Joseph’s … St. Bonaventure rookie Brianna Barr-Buday scored nine points at Fordham, corralling three rebounds in the process.
