WASHINGTON -- Three Atlantic 10 Conference women’s basketball teams, Davidson, Saint Joseph’s and Richmond, were named to the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association’s Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll, the WBCA announced.
The honor roll recognizes teams who maintain the highest GPAs within their respective divisions. The top 25 on the honor roll held the highest team GPA in each division.
The Wildcats were ranked 11th amongst Division I programs and had the highest ranking of A-10 teams. Led by coach Gayle Fulks, Davidson had a team GPA of 3.711.
Richmond and Saint Joseph’s were special mentions on the WBCA’s honor roll. Saint Joseph’s coached by Cindy Griffin had a team GPA of 3.503. The Spiders, led by coach Aaron Roussell, owned a team GPA of 3.492.
