CHICAGO - Loyola Chicago returns to action this Sunday against crosstown rival Chicago State. The Ramblers and Cougars will tip-off at 4 p.m. in Gentile Arena. Loyola looks to win its third straight game, while Chicago State needs to rebound after a loss at Illinois State last weekend.
Sunday's game will be on Marquee Sports Network and ESPN+ with Jordan Bernfield (PXP) and Kate Constable (Analyst). The game can also be listened to Rambler Sports Network with

RAMBLINGS
• Loyola earned two straight wins last week on its home court against Central Michigan and Princeton. The Ramblers beat the Chippewas 83-72 and the Tigers 73-68.
• Justin Moore recorded back-to-back 20-point games with 21 against both CMU and Princeton. In the win over the Chippewas, Moore went 5-12 from the field and 10-14 from the foul line. He followed up going 7-14 from the field against the Tigers and 6-8 at the line.
• Miles Rubin tied his season-high 16 points vs. CMU before grabbing his second double-double of the year vs. Princeton. He went for 12 points, 10 rebounds, and five blocks.
• Kayde Dotson reentered the starting lineup vs. Princeton. He came to play, tallying 13 points on 4-8 from the field with three from deep. He added six boards and two assists.
• Dotson leads Loyola from three, shooting 37 percent from the arc. He ranks 23rd in the A-10 in three-point percentage. Dotson has hit at least one from three in all but one game this season. He sank a season-high four threes in the opener vs. Cleveland State and is currently on a six-game streak with at least one made.
• Rubin's season-high five blocks vs. Princeton brought his season total up to 29, ranking fifth in the country. His 2.9 average ranks fourth.
• The junior center is one of the country's best shooters, making 62.5 percent of his attempts to rank 30th. Rubin also leads the Ramblers in rebounding and sits seventh in the A-10 with 6.7 rpg.
• After facing scoring woes in November, the Ramblers have started to find their stride. In this month's action, Loyola is shooting 50 percent from the field, ranking second in the A-10.
• Individually in December play, Moore leads the A-10 in scoring (21.0), Rubin leads in field goal percentage (.800), Moore is fourth in assists per game (5.0), and Rubin is first in blocks shots per game (3.0).
• Head coach Drew Valentine is in his fifth season at the helm. He has compiled a 86-58 overall record as head coach.
SCOUTING CHICAGO STATE
Chicago State enters the weekend at 1-9 overall and faces an 0-8 road record before coming to Gentile. The Cougars split last week's action after beating Saint Xavier (Ill.) 85-62 and falling to Illinois State 95-53. Chicago State faces a -19.4 scoring margin through the first 10 games of the year and are allowing opponents to score nearly 18 points per game on turnovers.
Three Cougars are averaging at least 10 points per game. Marcus Tankersley leads Chicago State, scoring 15.2 ppg. Tankersley has nine double-figure scoring efforts, including a season-high 24 points vs. Butler. He finished 12-19 from the field. CJ Ray grabbed a team-best 4.0 rebounds per game. He had a double-double vs. St. Xavier with 12 points and a season-high 10 rebounds.
Landon Bussie is in his first season with the Cougars who are 1-9.
