DAVIDSON — Dayton’s Mikkel Zinder captured the Atlantic 10 individual Masters tournament singles title on Sunday at Davidson College, as Zinder and teammate Dylan Jaen won the doubles tournament as well.

Zinder put together a spectacular four-match run to the singles title, dropping just one set across the entire weekend. The junior from Richboro, Pa. took down VCU’s Nicolo Consonni 6-4, 6-3 on Friday morning, rallying to defeat Fordham’s Mateusz Gradzki 2-6, 6-4, 6-2 later that afternoon. Zinder cruised past Davidson’s Kai Villagomez 6-1, 6-0 in the semifinal round before besting VCU’s Alfred Almasi 6-3, 6-4 in Sunday’s championship match.

In the doubles draw, Zinder and Jaen started the weekend with an 8-4 victory against George Mason’s Monil Lotlikar and Ekansh Kumar before taking down Richmond’s Charlie Burdell and Davis Wiley 8-4 in the semifinals. The pair closed out the doubles championship with a 6-4, 7-6 (3) triumph over VCU’s Mats Bredschneijder and Erwann Bouchet in the final.

The ITA Conference Masters Championships will take place November 6-9, 2025 at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif.
