WASHINGTON – The 2024-25 Atlantic 10 Conference men’s basketball schedule will have 78 nationally televised and digitally produced games, resulting in 147 national media appearances for the league’s 15 members. The A-10 announced the 135-game conference schedule and TV selections for the upcoming season Tuesday. The comprehensive streaming package for all games not on television will again be through ESPN+.
The 2024-25 season will mark the seventh straight year, every home game will be available to A-10 fans across the league’s three media partners: ESPN, CBS Sports, and NBC Sports, either on television or through streaming platforms. The schedule marks the first year of new five-year agreements with all three partners, announced last December.
The Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Championship Final will be broadcast on the CBS Television Network as a part of the network’s overall Selection Sunday coverage for the 16
th straight year. The game will also stream live on Paramount+. CBS Sports Network will again provide coverage of semifinal Saturday. NBC Sports has added the first round to their long-standing coverage of the second round and the quarterfinals on USA Network. For the first time in league history, all 14 games of the 2024 Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Championship will air on linear television.
The 2024-25 conference season begins on New Years Eve (Dec. 31) with seven games. Through the course of the season, there will be 50 televised games, eight televised non-conference games and five conference games on Peacock as part of the A-10 package. Each of the league’s 15 teams will make at least four appearances on national TV.
CBS Sports Network will carry 30 games, including 21 league contests and seven non-conference matchups for 28 total regular season games, plus the two championship semifinals. CBS Sports Network also features five days with multiple A-10 games including three Saturdays (Dec. 14, 21 and Feb. 1) as well as two weeknight doubleheaders on Jan. 15 (George Mason/Dayton and Rhode Island/Loyola Chicago) and Feb. 4 (St. Bonaventure/Loyola Chicago and La Salle/VCU).
Additionally, CBS Sports Network will again produce and air four episodes of its popular college basketball show, “Inside College Basketball,” dedicated exclusively to Atlantic 10 coverage for the 10
th straight year. Branded “Inside College Basketball: A-10 Tip-Off,” the show will air prior to selected conference games. ESPN and the Atlantic 10 will once again present A-10 Friday Night Showcase for the 10th straight year, featuring a record 11 Friday primetime conference games, including two Friday doubleheaders. The 11 games begin Jan. 3 with Saint Joseph’s at Saint Louis. Two weeks later, VCU faces Saint Joseph’s on Jan. 17, tipping off a run of eight straight Friday night games into March, concluding with Dayton at VCU on Friday, March 7. In all, seven different league teams will make at least one appearance on an ESPN Friday night game. The two doubleheaders are Jan. 24 (Saint Joseph’s /Dayton and St. Bonaventure/VCU) and Feb. 7 (VCU/Dayton and Saint Louis/Saint Joseph’s). All A-10 games across ESPN networks will also be available via the ESPN App, accessible on computers, smartphones, tablets and connected devices to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider. NBC Sports’ A-10 schedule will again feature 30 total games on USA Network, of which 18 are regular season conference matchups, 11 are A-10 Championship games and one is a non-conference game. There will be six additional games exclusively on Peacock, five of which are conference games, bringing the total number of NBC Sports games to 36. All games televised on USA Network will also be available via streaming on Peacock.
The Atlantic 10 institutions reside in states that comprise 39.9 million television households, 33 percent of the total national market. The A-10 is in seven of the top 30 media markets, including New York (1), Chicago (2), Philadelphia (4), Washington (9), Charlotte (22), St. Louis (23) and Pittsburgh (26). All 15 institutions are within or adjacent to the top 60 media markets.
