Dayton added an insurance run in the sixth inning with a sacrifice fly from Katie Reeg.

Chloe Wong led the Flyers offense with two hits, while Schutter, Kirnan Bailey, Maddie Kapsimalis and Nico Papavasiliou all tallied a knock.

Dayton advances to its third ever Atlantic 10 Softball Championship game and will look to win its first ever title tomorrow at noon against either No. 2 Saint Louis, No. 3 Loyola Chicago or No. 5 Massachusetts.
