WASHINGTON – The Atlantic 10 garnered five additional postseason bids late Sunday into the Women's Basketball Invitational Tournament (WBIT) and Women's National Invitational Tournament (WNIT), as Saint Joseph's, George Mason and VCU all earned spots in the inaugral WBIT and Duquesne and Saint Louis were invited to the WNIT.
The Saint Joseph's women's basketball team hosts Seton Hall in the inaugural Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament on Thursday evening inside Hagan Arena. The Hawks are 5-10 all-time against Seton Hall, the last three postseason appearances now having the two teams clash in the opening round.

George Mason women's basketball team will head to Penn State to take on the Nittany Lions in the inaugural Women's Basketball Invitational Tournament, the 32-team postseason tournament owned by the NCAA. George Mason and Penn State have only met three times in program history, with the Nittany Lions holding a narrow 2-1 edge over the Patriots.

VCU earned a bid to the inaugural Women's Basketball Invitational Tournament (WBIT) and will play Villanova on Thursday, March 21 at 7 p.m. in Philadelphia, Pa. The Rams have now earned postseason berths in five of the last six seasons overall. In that stretch, VCU has earned a berth in one NCAA Tournament and four WNITs in addition to the first WBIT berth this season.

Duquesne and Saint Louis both were also selected for the WNIT.
Saint Louis continues its post-season journey Thursday taking on Central Arkansas (21-11, 11-5) in the first round of the WNIT. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. (CST) at the Farris Center in Conway, Ark.
Duquesne earned a first-round bye in the event and will play the winner of Buffalo and Monmouth, who square off on Thursday, March 21, in Buffalo. The second-round contest will be played between March 23-26, with a time and place to be announced.
