WASHINGTON – The Atlantic 10 Conference has named Davidson fifth-year Connor Kochera its Men's Basketball Player of the Week. Saint Joseph’s freshman Dasear Haskins chosen as the league’s Rookie of the Week. The awards were announced Monday and are for games played Dec. 23-29.
 
Connor Kochera had a career-high 34 point game against Eastern Michigan to lead Davidson to its 10th win of the non-conference season. The guard and team captain from Arlington Heights, Ill., shot 11-of-13 (.846) from the field and 3-of-4 (.750) from beyond the arc while grabbing five rebounds and three assists.
 
Haskins was in double figures for the third time this season with a career-high seven rebounds as the Hawks beat Delaware State 76-58. He went 6-for-7 (.857) from 2-point range and was 6-of-12 (.500) from the field. The guard from Willingboro, N.J. also added a block in the contest.

Jalen Haynes notched a game-high 18 points (6-of-9 from the field) and a career-best 16 rebounds in George Mason’s win over Mt. St. Mary's, also posting two steals in his fourth double-double in the past five games and his eighth-straight contest with 10+ points … Saint Joseph’s Rasheer Fleming had his fourth double-double of the season with 13 points and 14 rebounds as the Hawks won their third game in a row, also delivering a career-best five assists, three steals and two blocks while shooting 5-for-8 from the floor … Gibson Jimerson pumped in 28 points in the Saint Louis win against William Woods, shooting 50 percent from the field (8-16) and 42.9 percent (6-14) from 3-point range with three steals … Billiken freshman Dylan Warlick had career highs of nine points and a team-high six rebounds against William Woods the six rebounds tied for the team lead.
