HENRICO, Va. — After a widely successful first year, the Atlantic 10 returns to the Henrico Sports & Events Center for the 2025 Women's Basketball Championship and starting Monday, Oct. 21, fans can secure seats by purchasing championship ticket books. Championship books, which include tickets to all seven sessions of the five-day tournament, are the most cost-effective way to see the championship and saves when compared to the individual session price.
Championship books, which feature general admission tickets to every session of the 2025 A-10 Women's Basketball Championship, are available for only $115.
The Atlantic 10 Conference Women's Basketball Championship returns to the Henrico Sports & Events Center in Glen Allen, Va., right outside of Richmond, March 5-9, with the league title and an NCAA Tournament bid on the line. The championship features all 15 league teams with competition spanning five days. The Championship was played at the new, state-of-the-art Henrico Sports & Events Center for the first time in 2024, with over 16,000 people attending the five-day Championship.
The first round session will be played on Wednesday, March 5 and includes three games. The second round features two sessions (four games0 on Thursday, March 6 including Youth Education Through Sports Day at the 11 a.m. game. Friday’s quarterfinals on March 7, features two sessions (four games) and Youth Education Through Sports Day again at the 11 a.m. game celebrating local students in the area. The final four advancing teams will play the semifinals Saturday, March 8 featured on CBS Sports Network, followed by the championship on Sunday, March 9 on the ESPN family of networks. Last year, Richmond capped off a historic season, winning its first A-10 title ever by defeating Rhode Island in the title game. Over the last seven years, the A-10 Women's Basketball Championship has produced seven different champions.
The 15 member institutions of the Atlantic 10 have all developed consistent and successful winning traditions on a national stage. Throughout their storied history, these programs have combined for 140 postseason appearances. Across the A-10’s 40 years of women’s basketball history, 15 different programs have been crowned conference champions, including 20 appearances in the NCAA Tournament over the last 13 years.
