NEW YORK (AP) Gibson Jimerson posted 21 points to headline fourth-seeded Saint Louis in the quarterfinal round of the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship, upending No. 5 George Mason via an 82-54 victory on Thursday afternoon en route to the program's fourth consecutive semifinals appearance.

With the win, the Billikens set a date with No. 1 overall VCU on Saturday afternoon in the A-10 semis, first tip slated for 1 p.m. at Barclay Arena with a national broadcast via CBS Sports Network.

SLU proved a nightmare on the offensive end, racking up a season-high and tying an A-10 Championship record with 26 assists as a team.

"We know that Yuri [Collins] is the kind of the conductor of our offense," Jimerson said. "He's responsible for most of the assists. But tonight, you've got guys, Larry [Hughes Jr.] had five, I had four. Especially with me, I'm going to draw attention. So just being able to find guys when they're open, it only helps the team when you're moving the ball like that. Makes you hard to guard when it's not sticking. Yeah, it just bolsters our offense."

Jimerson was 8-of-13 shooting, including 2-for-5 from distance, and went 3-for-3 from the line for the Billikens (21-11). Javon Pickett went 5-of-6 from the field to add 13 points. Sincere Parker shot 4-for-7, including 2-for-4 from beyond the arc to finish with 10 points.

Josh Oduro led the way for the Patriots (20-13) with 15 points and five assists. Ronald Polite III added 12 points for George Mason. De'Von Cooper also recorded 10 points. The loss snapped the Patriots' seven-game winning streak.

"This time of the year, any time of the year when you're not at your best, you need to find a way," George Mason head coach Kim English said. "And we weren't at our best in key moments tonight."
