NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference has named Davidson senior David Skogman and La Salle junior Khalil Brantley its Men's Basketball Co-Players of the Week. Davidson freshman Bobby Durkin was chosen as the league’s Rookie of the Week. The awards were announced Monday and are for games played Nov. 27 - Dec. 3.
 
Skogman shot an impressive 60 percent from the field in a 2-0 week for Davidson as the 'Cats won back-to-back games for the first time this season. The forward from Waukesha, Wis., scored a game-high and career-high 30 points against Charlotte on Wednesday night and followed up with a 19-point performance on Saturday against Wright State. He shot 18-of-30 from the field, including 7-of-15 from beyond the arc and grabbed 12 total rebounds.
 
Brantley averaged 26.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game in two classic Philadelphia battles. In a triple overtime loss at Temple, the 6-1 guard had 29 points and 14 rebounds as the Explorers dropped a marathon slugfest. Three days later, the guard from the Bronx, N.Y., had a team-high 24 points and drained a game-winning, buzzer-beating 3 from near midcourt to lift La Salle to a 93-92 win over Penn.
 
Durkin averaged 15.5 points per game in Davidson's first 2-0 week of the season. The 'Cats won back-to-back games for the first time this year, as Durkin shot 10-of-16 (62.5 percent) from the field and drained seven treys. Against Charlotte, Durkin scored 11-straight points in the second half to lead the 'Cats past their crosstown rival and shot 3-of-6 from deep to help the Wildcats push past Wright State.

Kobe Brea averaged 18.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in a 20 week for Dayton, including 22 points and the game-winning basket in a tight contest at SMU … Amari Kelly shot 63.2 percent and had back-to-back double-doubles with 11 points and 11 rebounds versus NJIT and 24 and 10 at Toledo, both wins for George Mason …  George Washington’s Darren Buchanan, Jr., posted a team-best 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting and 5-of-6 at the free throw line at South Carolina … Philip Alston shot 61.5 percent (8-for-13) from the field to scored 16 points with seven rebounds, two blocks and two steals in Loyola Chicago’s win over Harvard … Rhode Island’s Jaden House scored a team-high 18 points while shooting 3-of-5 from 3-point range against Providence … Josaphat Bilau had seven points, nine rebounds and one steal in for Rhody against Providence … Richmond’s Jordan King averaged 23 points and 4.5 rebounds while shooting 56 percent from the field and 57 percent from three, including 29 points in a win over William & Mary … Mika Adams-Woods posted 20 points, eight assists, six rebounds and three blocks in a win at Buffalo for St. Bonaventure … Rasheer Fleming averaged a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds along with 2.5 assists and 2.5 blocks in leading Saint Joseph’s to the Inaugural Big 5 Classic title … SJU freshman Xzayvier Brown scored 16 points on 6-of-9 (.667) shooting from the field and 4-of-5 (.800) from 3-point range in the Hawks win at Villanova.
