NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference has named Dayton junior Nate Santos and George Mason sophomore Keyshawn Hall its Men's Basketball Co-Players of the Week. George Washington freshman Garrett Johnson was chosen as the league’s Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive week. The awards were announced Monday and are for games played Nov. 13-19.
Santos was named to the All-Tournament Team of the Shriners Children's Hospitals Charleston Classic, leading the Flyers to a second-place finish. He averaged 17.0 points and 6.3 rebounds while leading the tournament in field goal percentage (.680, 17-of-25). The forward from Geneva, Ill., also shot .636 (7-for-11) from distance and .714 (10-of-14) from the line.
