NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference has named Fordham graduate student Khalid Moore and Saint Joseph’s sophomore Lynn Greer III as its Co-Men's Basketball Players of the Week. Massachusetts freshman RJ Luis was named the league’s Rookie of the Week. The awards were announced Monday for games played Jan. 23-29.
 
Moore averaged 24.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in two Fordham wins. The forward from Elmont, N.Y., capped his week with a career-high 30 points, shooting 10-for-14 (.714) from the field, and eight rebounds in win over George Washington. He started the week with 19 points and four rebounds in win at St. Bonaventure, helping the Rams break an 11-game losing streak to the Bonnies. Moore shot .762 (16-of-21) from the field on the week, and .800 (4-5) from behind the arc and added three steals and three blocks.
 
It was a career week for Greer as he averaged 24.5 points and 11.0 rebounds per game to go with 3.5 assists, while shooting 58.3 percent from the field and collecting his first two collegiate double-doubles. On Wednesday at George Washington, Greer poured in a career-high 31 points to go with 11 rebounds in a 92-91 overtime loss. The Philadelphia native followed that with another strong performance, adding 18 points and 11 rebounds to go with four assists in a 79-76 victory at George Washington.
 
Luis averaged 27.0 points per game on .565 (13-of-23) from the field and .929 (26-of-28) from the line to go along with 6.0 rebounds in a pair of UMass wins. The guard from Miami scored a career-high 31 points on 7-of-11 (.636) from the field and 17-of-18 (.944) from the stripe with five rebounds in a win over Duquesne. He added five rebounds in the win. Luis opened week with 23 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in a win over Richmond where he shot 50 percent (6-of-12) from the field and 90 percent (9-for-10) from the line.

Sam Mennenga tallied a 27-point, 11-rebounds double-double for Davidson, shooting .625 (10-16) from the field in a win at La Salle … DaRon Holmes II averaged 18 points across two games for Dayton, while also averaging 7.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks … UD freshman Mike Sharavjamts tallied 14 points and three assists while shooting .556 (5-for-9) in Dayton’s split week … Duquesne’s Jimmy Clarke III racked up seven assists and 10 steals in two games, and scored 21 points with six boards for the Dukes versus UMass … George Mason’s Josh Oduro averaged 18.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and shot 55.6 percent in two games for George Mason, including a career-best seven assist performance versus Saint Joseph's … Brendan Adams averaged 25.0 points per game for George Washington, including 32 points on seven made 3-pointers with three assists against SJU … GW freshman Maximus Edwards had a 12-point, 10-rebounds double-double versus in the Colonials overtime win over the Hawks, and added 10 points at Fordham … La Salle’s Daeshon Shepherd scored 14 points on 5-of-8 (.625) shooting with five rebounds and two steals versus Davidson … Explorer freshman Andres Marrero had 10 point, six rebounds and three assists against the Wildcats … Phillip Alston had a big game for Loyola Chicago, hitting 8-of-15 (.533) from the field, including five threes to finish with 25 points at Duquesne … Rhode Island’s Ishmael Leggett had a monster week to lead the Rams to two wins over Dayton and La Salle, averaging 22.5 points per game with 3.5 assists while not missing a shot in the final five minutes of either game … Jalen Carey averaged 15.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks over the two Rhody wins, shooting .500 from the field (11-for-22) and .727 at the line (8-for-11) …  St. Bonaventure’s Daryl Banks III scored 29 points on 7-of-12 (.583) from the field and a perfect 12-of-12 at the line against Fordham … Bonnies freshman Yann Farell scored 15 points, swishing five triples, in the Brown and White’s win at VCU … Erik Reynolds II averaged 23.5 points per game for Saint Joseph’s with six total rebounds and five assists for Saint Joseph’s … Yuri Collins had a 12-point, 10-asssit double-double and did not miss a shot from the field in Saint Louis’ win at Dayton, with a perfect 4-for-4 performance from the field and 1-fo-1 from 3-point range.
