“Tom has worked tirelessly throughout his tenure at the Atlantic 10 to ensure we are providing high-level experiences for our student-athletes, coaches and fans,” stated McGlade. “His commitment to excellence has earned him respect from his colleagues in the A-10 membership, and his positive attitude and teamwork is an asset to our staff. I commend him on this well-deserved promotion.”

A graduate of Elon University, Waterman joined the league in 2011 as the Communications Intern, and has held a variety of roles in the past 11 years, including previously serving as the Operations Assistant and Director of Operations.

Dawson joins the A-10 as the league’s Communications Intern, where she will assist in the coverage of selected Olympic sports and championships, while also assisting with research and record-keeping projects. She is a graduate of Norfolk State University.

Tichackova was a volleyball student-athlete at nearby Hampton University. A native of Liberec, Czech Republic, Tichackova will sever as the Championships Intern. She will assist with both Olympic sports and basketball regular season research, scheduling, and championship administration.

“I’d like to welcome both Maya and Barbora to the A-10 staff,” added McGlade. “Both have relevant experience in their backgrounds and we’re glad to have them join our team for the 2022-23 academic year.”
