WASHINGTON, D.C. – Richmond's three starting forwards combined for 51 points and shot 20-30 from the field to lead the Spiders to a wire-to-wire 84-71 win at George Washington Tuesday. In the game, UR guard Jacob Gilyard tallied three assists to set the A-10 career record for assists
 
After entering the night tied with Temple's Howard Evans for the most assists in Atlantic 10 history at 748, Gilyard took sole possession on the conference's career assists list with a cross-court pass to Nick Sherod for a transition three-pointer with 12:39 left in the 1^st half.

Earlier this year Gilyard also broke the NCAA career steals record.
