DAYTON, Ohio – Sandro Weber broke a scoreless tie less than 10 minutes into the second half to give fourth-seeded George Washington a 1-0 win over No. 1 Dayton in the Atlantic 10 Men's Soccer Championship Semifinal at Baujan Field.

The Colonials (5-2-2) advance to the championship final for the first time since 2015 to face the winner between No 2 Saint Louis and No. 3 Fordham. GW has not won the A-10 Championship since 2004.

Tom Cooklin served up a ball from the top of the corner of the box to the far side, where Carter Humm got a touch on it to set up Weber for the score in the 53rd minute.

Despite additional chances by both teams, the both defenses and goalkeepers kept the ball out of the net for the remainder of the period. GW netminder Justin Grady made six saves for the Colonials while UD's Marc Kouadio made two.

Dayton (4-4-1) got a game-high six shots out of A-10 Midfielder of the Year Kingsford Adjei and two each from Elias Harryson and Toluwalase Oladeinbo. Weber led GW with three shots.

George Washington held a 5-4 advantage in corner kicks, and the Colonials committed 17 fouls to Dayton's 11.
