Laura Cilia Bio
Laura Cilia is the Title IX Advocate/Educator at La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA. She is certified in victim advocacy, Title IX investigations, and holds a certificate in pastoral counseling. Laura earned a Master of Arts from the University of Delaware's Counseling in Higher Education program, and has a Master of Arts from La Salle University in Theology and Ministry. In her role at La Salle, Laura works with hundreds of students in the diverse community (many of them are athletes) to advocate for and support them, and regularly provides education about sexual misconduct policy and campus resources.  Laura is passionate about advocacy and empowerment, and enjoys engaging with students around difficult topics. She believes in creating safe spaces for open conversation, self-exploration, and learning that ultimately help students become the best versions of themselves. When she's not wearing her advocate hat, Laura enjoys running, yoga, and the performing arts.
