Pairings for Junkanoo Jam Announced (read full story)
PITTSBURGH - Duquesne will face Indiana State, Air Force and Loyola Marymount in the 2019 Junkanoo Jam it was announced by tournament organizers today. The four-team round robin tournament will take place on Nov. 21-24 at Gateway Christian Academy, in Bimini, Bahamas.
The Junkanoo Jam will mark the second trip to the Bahamas in four months for the Dukes who will be in Nassau for a foreign tour from August 5-11.
The Dukes, who return four starters from last year's 19-13 team, will face Indiana State on Nov. 21, Air Force on the 22nd and Loyola Marymount on the 24th in the second game of a doubleheader each day (game times are to be announced). The tournament champion will be crowned after the conclusion of game two on Sunday the 24th.
Mason to Compete in 2019 Cayman Islands Classic (read full story)
FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason University men's basketball team will compete as part of a strong eight-team field at the 2019 Cayman Islands Classic this November.
In addition to the Patriots, tournament participants include Power 5 programs Nebraska and Washington State, as well as Loyola Chicago, Old Dominion, New Mexico State, USF and Colorado State.
The event will be held November 25-27, 2019, on the island of Grand Cayman. In addition, Mason will host an opening round home game as part of the competition inside EagleBank Arena.
The tournament is another iteration in Mason's tour across the globe over the past few seasons. The Patriots played in the 2017 Cancun Challenge in Mexico and took part in a nine-day foreign tour through Spain this past summer.
Men’s Basketball Headlines Field at Islands of the Bahamas Showcase (read full story)
WASHINGTON – The GW men's basketball team headlines an eight-team field for the 2019 Islands of the Bahamas Showcase, which will be contested Nov. 22-24 in Nassau, The Bahamas.
The Colonials will open the tournament on Friday, Nov. 22 vs. University of Missouri-Kansas City at 5 p.m. ET. Consolation games will be played Saturday, Nov. 23 at 11 a.m./2 p.m. followed by the semifinals at 5 p.m./8 p.m. Sunday's championship game will be at 8 p.m. ET. The rest of the field includes 2019 NCAA Tournament participant Liberty, East Carolina, Evansville, Milwaukee, Morgan State and Rice.

AMHERST, Mass. - A pair of home match-ups against Central Connecticut State and Rider followed by a date against defending national champion Virginia at Mohegan Sun Arena highlight the UMass men's basketball team's draw in the 2019 Basketball Hall of Fame Tournament presented by Citi. The campus round of the tournament will run from Nov. 14-20 while the Mohegan Sun Arena portion will be held Nov. 23 and Nov. 24.
The Minutemen will host CCSU on Nov. 16 before taking on Rider on Nov. 20 at the Mullins Center. The match-up with Virginia at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, will be on Nov. 23 as part of a four-game slate with Nov. 24 being another four-game date with champions of the Naismith and Springfield brackets being crowned as well as consolation games for both.
The annual NCAA men's exempt tournament sponsored by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. Eight schools total will compete in two four-team brackets with campus round games leading up to the Mohegan Sun Arena contests

Toronto Bound: Bonnies To Face Rutgers in James Naismith Classic Nov. 16 (read full story)
ST. BONAVENTURE, N.Y. – The basketball season is nearly six months away, but Bonnies basketball fans have the first date to circle on the calendar: Saturday, Nov. 16.
On that day, St. Bonaventure will be one of six teams making the trip north of the border to Toronto to take part in the James Naismith Classic tripleheader. The Bonnies will play Big Ten foe Rutgers as one of the three games – Tennessee will face Washington and Buffalo will take on Harvard in the other contests. All three games will take place in Scotiabank Arena, home of the Toronto Raptors and Maple Leafs.
