NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The calendar has flipped to March and that means only one thing – it’s time for the Atlantic 10 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships.
The women’s championship begins on Tuesday, March 5 at six campus sites, with winners advancing to the quarterfinals at the A.J. Palumbo Center at Duquesne University on March 8 for games at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 4:30 and 7 p.m.
Spalding, the official basketball of the A-10 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships, will partner with the A-10 for the early contests on Friday, March 8 when hundreds of school children from the Pittsburgh area will be in attendance for the A-10 Youth Education through Sports Day. All four games will be broadcast digitally on ESPN+.
Fans can take their photo with the A-10 trophy and share on social media at the Jostens A-10 Photo Booth throughout the Women’s Basketball Championship. Jostens is the official and preferred provider of rings and trophies for the Atlantic 10. In addition, the A-10 is also proud to associate with the following select partners for the Women’s Basketball Championship; GEICO, Enterprise, and Ready Nutrition.
The Women’s Championship continues on Saturday, March 9 with the semifinal rounds at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m, aired nationally on the CBS Sports Network. The championship culminates on Sunday, March 10 with the title contest at noon on ESPNU.
