About The Atlantic 10 5/2/2017 6:50:00 PM Atlantic 10 Conference UMass Tennis Draws No. 1 Seed Florida for NCAA Tournament AMHERST, Mass. - After winning its first Atlantic 10 Championship title since 2001, the UMass women's tennis team will play No. 1 seed Florida in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The match will be played on Saturday, May 13 at 1 p.m. in Gainesville. Live stats and streaming video will be available.This marks the second time in the program's history to reach the NCAA Tournament with both appearances coming under the guidance of head coach Judy Dixon. The Minutewomen enter the tournament with a 12-7 overall record after winning the A-10 title match over VCU 4-2 last Sunday. Florida fell to Vanderbilt in the SEC Championship title match and is 23-3 overall this year. The Gators were the No. 1 team in the nation according to the April 25 Oracle/ITA Division I Rankings.UMass is led by the trio of Ana Yrazusta, Anna Woosley and Brittany Collens. Yrazusta is currently riding a nine-match win streak including a 3-0 mark in the A-10 Tournament. She stands at 19-7 overall this season. Woosley is the active leader in career wins with 64 and is 15-10 this year. She recorded the match-winning point in the title game against VCU. Collens is the overall singles wins leader this year at No. 6 singles posting a career-best 21-8 record.Doubles play has been a strength of the Minutewomen this year. UMass is 33-16 overall in dual match doubles with Janja Kovacevic and Yrazusta leading the way with a 17-8 record at No. 2 play.
