SLU, WESTERN KENTUCKY SQUARE OFF FRIDAY NIGHT
--Saint Louis (26-7) and Western Kentucky (26-6) meet in a Women’s National Invitation Tournament third-round game Friday, March 25. Tip-off at Chaifetz Arena is scheduled for 7 p.m.
--The SLU-Western Kentucky winner advances to the quarterfinals to face the winner of the South Dakota-Northern Iowa game that will be played Thursday night at South Dakota.
--Atlantic 10 Conference co-champion Saint Louis, the A-10’s WNIT automatic qualifier and owner of a school-record 26 wins, is making its second WNIT appearance. The Billikens have a 2-1 WNIT record.
--Western Kentucky, which placed second in the Conference USA regular-season standings, received an at-large bid to its 11th WNIT overall and second in three seasons. The Lady Toppers, 15-11 in WNIT play all-time, reached the semifinals in 2006 and 2007.

OUTSTANDING GUARDS TO BATTLE
--Friday night’s game features two guards who rank among the nation’s best in several statistical categories.
--Saint Louis sophomore Jackie Kemph is third nationally in assists (7.0 apg), 25th in assist-turnover ratio (2.30-to-1), 28th in free throws made (155), 40th in free throw attempts (186) and 53rd in free throw percentage (.833). Kemph is the Atlantic 10 Conference co-Player of the Year.
--Western Kentucky redshirt junior Kendall Noble is 18th in free throw attempts (217), 20th in free throws made (163), 26th in steals (2.7 spg), 32nd in assists (5.5 apg) and 40th in assist-turnover ratio (2.16-to-1). Noble earned Conference USA Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year accolades.
