Dietz Enshrined In Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Hall Of Fame

SEATTLE - The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA) added University of Massachusetts head coach Jim Dietz to its hall of fame during an awards ceremony Monday evening. Dietz was one of three inducted during 2015, joined by Washington head coach Bob Ernst and Texas women's rowing head coach Carrie Graves.

The only coach in the history of the University of Massachusetts varsity rowing program, Dietz has molded the Minutewomen into a powerhouse program among New England schools during 21 completed seasons. He recently took the squad to back-to-back NCAA Championships in 2014 and 2015 while the Minutewomen own 15 Atlantic 10 Championships all-time.

Dietz, a nine-time recipient of the Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year Award, was previously inducted into the National Rowing Hall of Fame in March 2010 while he is also a member of the Northeastern University and the New York Athletic Club halls of fame.
